Special meeting of the City Council of the City of Janesville held
in the Municipal Building on October 22, 1997.
The meeting was called to order by Council President Cullen.
Present: Council President Cullen, Councilmembers Brien, Stehura,
Westphal, Noll & Schneider. Absent: Councilmember O'Leary.
Review of Budgets.
Council reviewed the Fire Department, Solid Waste Collection,
Recycling, and CDA budgets. Councilmember Brien requested~ a
breakdown of the $64,000 savings from the proposed elimination of
commercial trash pickup.
Matters Not on the Agenda.
Council President Cullen scheduled a site tour of the proposed East
Memorial Drive construction project for 3:45 p.m. on October 27,
1997.
There being no further business, Council adjourned at 8:35
