Study Session of the City Council of the City of Janesville held in
the Municipal Building on September 22, 1997.
The meeting was called to order by Council President Cullen.
Present: Council President Cullen, Councilmembers Brien, O'Leary,
Stehura, and Westphal. Absent: Councilmembers Noll and Schneider.
1. Report on financial condition of the City and audit report.
Finance Director Herb Stinski introduced Don Rahn of Virchow,
Krause & Company and stated he was available to answer questions
from Council. Council reviewed the financial condition of the City
and audit report.
2. Report on City Council Priorities/Projects Status.
Council reviewed the report on Council Priorities/Projects Status.
A work session on goals and priorities for the riverfront and
downtown will be scheduled in early 1998.
There being no further business, Council adjourned at 6:21 p.m..
