Special meeting of the City Council of the city of Janesville, held
in the Municipal Building, 3 Dec 1992 at 7:00 A.M.
The meeting was called to order by Council President Brien.
Present: Council President Brien, Councilmembsrs Heitzman, O'Leary,
Noll, Stehura, Schneider, and Thomas.
1. A proposed resolution appropriating funds, authorizing
expenditures, and levying a tax therefore by the city of Janesville
for the fiscal year ending December 31, 1993.
Councilmember Heitzman moved to adopt said resolution, seconded by
Councilmember Noll and passed with the following vote: Aye: Council
President Brien, Councilmembers Heitzman, O'Leary, Noll, Schneider,
and Thomas. Nay: Councilmember Stehura. (File Resolution No. 92-
1572)
Councilmember Stehura left the meeting at 7:17 A.M.
2. Matters not on the agenda.
Councilmember Heitzman moved, seconded by Councilmember Noll to let
the record show that the Council did not include the county and two
school's levies as part of the city levy to express their protest
at the rates of increase. Motion passed with the following vote:
Aye: Council President Brien, Councilmembers Heitzman, O'Leary,
Noll, and Thomas. Nay: Councilmember Schneider. Absent:
Councilmember Stehura.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:21
A.M.
