SPECIAL MEETING

Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Janesville, held
in the Municipal Building, 22 June 1992.
The meeting was called to order by Council President Brien.
Present: Council President Brien, Councilmembers Heitzman,
O'Leary, Noll, Stehura, Schneider and Thomas.
Council President Brien proposed that he be the City
representative to the Joint Review Board for TIF District
No. VIII. On a motion by Councilmember Stehura, seconded
by Councilmember Schneider, the Council voted unanimously,
with Council President Brien abstaining, to approve the
appointment of Council President Brien to the Joint Review
Board for TIF No. VIII.
The City Council convened in study session to review Waste
Management Fiscal Projections and Strategy and viewed a
video tape prepared by the Police Department concerning the
the activities on May 30, 1992, at Rockport Park.
On a motion by Councilmember Schneider, seconded by
Councilmember Noll, the Council voted unanimously to
enter into closed session pursuant to Wisconsin Statute
Section 19.85(1) (e), for purpose of deliberating or
negotiating the potential purchase of public properties,
whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a
closed session.
