A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Janesville,
held in the Municipal Building, October 27, 1993 at 6:30 p.m.
The meeting was called to order by Council President O'Leary.
Present: Council President O'Leary, Councilmembers Stehura,
Schneider and Brien.
Absent: Councilmembers Heitzman, Noll and Thomas.
OLD BUSINESS
1. Review of the 1994 Proposed City Budget.
Councilmember Thomas arrived at 6:45 p.m.
The Council reviewed the insurance, public works administration,
street maintenance and repair programs, public buildings and
capital improvement programs.
Councilmember Stehura requested additional information on the water
and sewer extension to the Rock County Airport. He requested a
financial analysis of the total project, including a breakdown of
costs between the county, city and property owners.
Councilmember Schneider left at 7:40 p.m.
The Council reviewed the traffic control programs, the sanitation
fund, technical services and vehicle operation and maintenance.
NEW BUSINESS
1. Matters not on the agenda. There were none.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:23
p.m.
