Minutes 01-22-01PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL CITY OF JANESVILLE, WISCONSIN REGULAR MEETING January 22, 2001 VOL. 51 NO. 27 Regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Janesville held in the Municipal Building on January 22, 2001. The meeting was called to order by Council President Murphy at 7:00 p.m. Councilmember Brien led the Council in the Pledge of Allegiance. Present: Council President Murphy, Councilmembers Schneider, Wdliams, Brien, O'Leary, Noll (arrived at 7:15 p.m.) and DeGarmo. CONSENT AGENDA Minutes of the regular meeting of January 8, 2001. Minutes of the closed session of January 8, 2001. Licenses; and Recommendations of the Alcohol License Advisory Committee. Authorization for the administration to deny a liability claim for Catherine E. Jorgensen in the amount of $10,806.04. Action on a motion to approve final Certified Survey Map #00055-C, Terry Campbell, 1 lot and 1 outlot on Black Bridge Road. Council President Murphy stated that the Consent Agenda would be approved if there were no objections. There were no objections. Requests and comments from the public on matters which can be affected by Council action. Dennis Adler, 320 Oakland Avenue, asked Council to install traffic signals at the intersection of Holiday Drive and Liberty Lane during the calendar year 2001. He also submitted petitions in suppond of the traffic signals. Richard Frank, 1119 Elida Street, asked Council to consider providing legal fees for individuals filing claims against the City. Councilmember Noll arrived at 7:15 p.m. 2. & 3. Proposed ordinances annexing (File Ord. No. 2000-61 ) and zoning to R1 upon annexation (File Ord.
