2024-2189 RESOLUTION NO. 2024-2189
A resolution recognizing Dennis L. Schultz for his employment at the City of
Janesville.
WHEREAS, Dennis L. Schultz retired from City of Janesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for 27 years;
retiring as an Equipment Operator 2 in the Parks Division of the Public Works
Department; and
WHEREAS, during Dennis L. Schultz' employment with the City of Janesville, he
provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to
the duties of his position, which he performed with skill, ability, sincerity, honesty, and
dedication; and
WHEREAS, Dennis L. Schultz began his employment with the City of Janesville as a
Laborer II in the Operations/Public Works Department in June 1996; and
WHEREAS, in the course of his employment, he held several positions in the
Operations Division, including Laborer Ill, Equipment Operator I, and Equipment
Operator II, before transferring to the Parks Division for the position of Grounds
Maintenance Ill - later retitled Operator, Operator 1 and Operator 2; and
WHEREAS, Dennis L. Schultz received the Public Works Department's Above &
Beyond reward in 2016; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be
properly recognized;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Dennis L. Schultz for
his twenty-seven years of loyal public service.
