2023-887 ORDINANCE NO. 2023-887 An ordinance changing the zoning classification of property located at 18 South Orchard Street and 101 South Grant Avenue from M2, General Industrial District, to B3, General Commercial District, with a penalty and injunctive relief for a violation thereof as set forth in Section 42-332 of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville. THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby changed from M2, General Industrial District to B3, General Commercial District: Property located in the SW '/4 of Section 35, T.3N., R.12E. of the 4th P.M., City of Janesville, Rock County, Wisconsin described as follows: All of Lot 15 and Lot 6 except the south 10.5 feet of Lot 6, Block 2, Palmer's Addition, City of Janesville. Also including one-half of the public right-of-way of South Grant Avenue and South Orchard Street adjoining the above-described property. SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police power so requiring.
