2024-2186 RESOLUTION NO. 2024-2186
A resolution recognizing David A. Schumacher for his employment at the City of
Janesville.
WHEREAS, David A. Schumacher retired from City of Janesville employment after
having diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for 10
years; retiring as a Transit Bus Driver with the Janesville Transit System; and
WHEREAS, David A. Schumacher began his employment with the City of Janesville as
a Part-Time Bus Driver with the Janesville Transit System in May 2013 and was
promoted to Full-Time Bus Driver in January 2014; and
WHEREAS, during David A. Schumacher's employment with the City of Janesville, he
provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to
the duties of his position, which he performed with skill, ability, sincerity, honesty, and
dedication, and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be
properly recognized;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to David A. Schumacher
for his ten years of loyal public service.
