An ordinance changing and establishing the zoning classification of property located at
4000 South County Road G to M1 upon annexation.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is established
as M1, Light Industrial District:
ALL OR PARTS OF EACH THE NE 1/4 OF THE NE 1/4, SE 1/4 OF THE NE 1/4, SW 1/4 OF
THE NE 1/4, NW 1/4 OF THE NE 1/4 AND SE 1/4 OF THE NW 1/4 OF SECTION 24, T.2N.,
R.12E., TOWN OF ROCK AND PARTS OF EACH OF THE NW 1/4 OF THE NW 1/4 AND SW
1/4 OF THE NW 1/4 OF FRACTIONAL SECTION 19, T.2N., R.13E., TOWN OF LA PRAIRE,
ALL OF THE 4TH P.M., ROCK COUNTY, WISCONSIN.
DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: Beginning at the East 1/4 Corner of said Section 24; thence
N89°02'52"W along the East-West Centerline of said Section 24, as monumented, 2550.27 feet
to the Center of said Section; thence N89°04'47"W continuing along said East-West Centerline,
775.08 feet to the SE Corner of Parcel 1 of Document No. 2122152; thence NO°43'12"W along
the East Line of said Parcel, 246.24 feet to the SE Corner of Lot 1 of a Certified Survey Map
recorded in Volume 39, Pages 325 thru 329; thence along the East Line of said Lot 1, along the
following courses: N62°23'53"E 657.17 feet; thence S89°04'46"E 188.69 feet; thence
NO°43'12"W 1692.07 feet to the NE Corner of said Lot 1; thence S88°29'34"E along the South
Line of Lot 1 of a Certified Survey Map recorded in Volume 37, Pages 187 thru 194 and its
easterly extension, 2615.31 feet to the East Line of C.T.H. "G"; thence along said East Line
along the following courses: SO°21'21"E 1565.00 feet; thence S22°09'26"E 107.70 feet; thence
SO°21'21"E 561.70 feet to the East-West Centerline of said Section 19-2-13; thence
N89°31'04"W along said East-West Centerline, 90.01 feet to the place of beginning.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common
Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police
power so requiring.
