2023-2160 RESOLUTION NO. 2023-2160
A resolution recognizing Henry R. Lewandowski for his employment at the
City of Janesville.
WHEREAS, Henry R. Lewandowski retired from City of Janesville employment after
having diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for 24
years; retiring as a Fire Lieutenant with the Janesville Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, during Henry R. Lewandowski's employment with the City of Janesville, he
provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to
the duties of his position, which he performed with skill, ability, sincerity, honesty, and
dedication; and
WHEREAS, Henry R. Lewandowski began his employment with the City of Janesville
as a Firefighter/Paramedic in May, 1999; and
WHEREAS, in the course of his employment, he held the assignments of
Firefighter/Paramedic, Preceptor, Driver/EPM, Fire Lieutenant/EPM, and Fire
Lieutenant; and
WHEREAS, Henry R. Lewandowski served on the Department's Hazmat Team and
Hazmat Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be
properly recognized;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Henry R.
Lewandowski for his twenty-four years of loyal public service.
