2023-2143 RESOLUTION NO. 2023-2143
A resolution recognizing Sheryl L. Inman for her employment at the City of
Janesville.
WHEREAS, Sheryl L. Inman retired from City of Janesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for 15 years; retiring
as a Customer Service Representative in Public Works/Operations Division; and
WHEREAS, during Sheryl L. Inman's employment with the City of Janesville, she provided
exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties of
her position, which she performed with skill, ability, sincerity, honesty, and dedication; and
WHEREAS, Sheryl L. Inman began her employment with the City of Janesville as a
Property Maintenance Specialist in the Neighborhood Services Division in December 2007;
and
WHEREAS, in the course of her employment, she held several positions including Property
Maintenance Specialist I, Property Maintenance Specialist II, and Customer Service
Representative; and
WHEREAS, Sheryl L. Inman was named the Administration City Employee of the Year in
2011; the Neighborhood & Community Services' Mighty Oak recipient in December 2014;
and the Department of Public Works Above & Beyond Award Winner in April 2021; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be
properly recognized;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the people of the City of Janesville, through
the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Sheryl L. Inman for her fifteen
years of loyal public service.
