2023-2142 RESOLUTION NO. 2023-2142
A resolution recognizing Linda M. Moses for her employment at the City of
Janesville.
WHEREAS, Linda M. Moses retired from City of Janesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for 27 years;
retiring as a Rent Assistance Housing Specialist; and
WHEREAS, during Linda M. Moses' employment with the City of Janesville, she
provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to
the duties of her position, which she performed with skill, ability, sincerity, honesty, and
dedication; and
WHEREAS, Linda M. Moses began her employment with the City of Janesville as a
Part-Time Clerk Typist in the Code Enforcement Department in July, 1996; and
WHEREAS, in the course of her employment, she held several positions including Part-
Time Clerk Typist, Part-Time Customer Service Representative, Full-Time Customer
Service Representative, Full-Time Administrative Assistant I, and Housing Specialist;
and had worked in numerous offices and divisions including Community Development,
Clerk-Treasurer and Neighborhood and Community Services. Linda M. Moses was
always willing to take on new projects and help out whenever possible; and
WHEREAS, Linda M. Moses was named the Housing & Neighborhood Services' Mighty
Oak recipient in June, 2016; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be
properly recognized;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Linda M. Moses, for
her twenty-seven years of loyal public service.
