2023-868 ORDINANCE NO. 2023-868 An ordinance changing the zoning classification of property located at 251 Hyatt Street from M3, Central Light Industrial District, to R3, General Residence District, with a penalty and injunctive relief for a violation thereof as set forth in Section 42- 332 of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville. THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby changed from M3, Central Light Industrial District to R3, General Residence District: Property located in the NE '/4 of the SW '/4 of Section 25, T.3N., R.12E. of the 4th P.M., City of Janesville, Rock County, Wisconsin described as follows: Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9, Block 2, Pixley & Shaw's Addition and parts of vacated Hyatt Street and vacated Railroad Street, vacated by City Council Resolution No. 2007-400 and recorded as Document No. 1797758. This also includes one-half of the public right-of-way of Walker Street adjoining the above-described property and one-half of the public right-of-way of Hyatt Street adjoining the southeast corner of the property. SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police power so requiring.
