2023-2100 RESOLUTION NO. 2023-2100
A resolution recognizing Jeffrey P. Justman for his employment at the City of
Janesville.
WHEREAS, Jeffrey P. Justman retired from City of Janesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for 29 years,
retiring as a Police Officer with the Janesville Police Department; and
WHEREAS, during Jeffrey P. Justman's employment with the City of Janesville, he
provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to
the duties of his position, which he performed with skill, ability, sincerity, honesty, and
dedication; and
WHEREAS, Jeffrey P. Justman began his employment with the City of Janesville as a
Police Officer in January 1994; and
WHEREAS, in the course of his employment, he had a variety of assignments, including
first and third shift Patrol Officer, Bicycle Officer, and Field Training Officer, and he was
a member of the General Order Committee; and
WHEREAS, Jeffrey P. Justman received the Meritorious Service Citation in 1998; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be
properly recognized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Jeffrey P. Justman for
his 29 years of loyal public service.
