2023-2069 RESOLUTION NO. 2023-2069
A resolution recognizing Christopher M. Buescher for his employment at the City of
Janesville.
WHEREAS, Christopher M. Buescher retired from City of Janesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for 29 years; retiring as a
Detective with the Janesville Police Department; and
WHEREAS, during Christopher M. Buescher's employment with the City of Janesville, he
provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties
of his position, which he performed with skill, ability, sincerity, honesty, and dedication; and
WHEREAS, Christopher M. Buescher began his employment with the City of Janesville as a
Police Officer in September 1993; and
WHEREAS, in the course of his employment, he had a variety of assignments, including first,
second and third shift Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, Special Operations Unit, Janesville
Narcotics Enforcement Team (JNET), Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team, and
Detective; and
WHEREAS, Christopher M. Buescher was a member of the Badge Study Committee and
General Order Committee; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be properly
recognized;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the people of the City of Janesville, through the
City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Christopher M. Buescher for his twenty-
nine years of loyal public service.
