An ordinance adjusting the late fee for pet registration and various permitting fees with penalties
for violations thereof as set forth in JGO 8-2, JGO 10-12 and JGO 34-88.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The applicable section of the Fee Schedule set forth in Appendix A of the Code of
General Ordinances of the City of Janesville is hereby adjusted to reflect the below new fee and
is hereby amended in the manner set forth in the attachment hereto:
1. The late fee for registering a pet after March 31st is decreased from $30 to $10 per pet
effective January 1, 2023.
2. The Residential Foundation fee is increased from $138 to $200 and the Commercial
Foundation fee is increased from $138 to $250 effective January 1, 2023. The Plan Review fee
for commercial and industrial buildings 0 — 2,500 square feet is increased from $0.24 per square
foot (minimum $72) to a flat fee of$250 effective January 1, 2023.
3. The Curb Cut fee is increased from $50 to $100 effective January 1, 2023.
