2022-2039 RESOLUTION NO. 2022-2039
A resolution recognizing Kevin M. Olin for his employment at the City of Janesville.
WHEREAS, Kevin M. Olin retired from City of Janesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for 29 years;
retiring as a School Resource Officer with the Janesville Police Department; and
WHEREAS, during Kevin M. Olin's employment with the City of Janesville, he provided
exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties of
his position, which he performed with skill, ability, sincerity, honesty, and dedication; and
WHEREAS, Kevin M. Olin began his employment with the City of Janesville as a Police
Officer in February 1993; and
WHEREAS, in the course of his employment, he had a variety of assignments, including
first and third shift Patrol Officer, Bike Officer, DARE Officer, School Resource Officer,
SWAT Officer, Rapid Response Instructor, and BearCat Driver; and
WHEREAS, Kevin M. Olin received the Public Safety Employee of the Year Award in
2013; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be
properly recognized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the people of the City of Janesville, through
the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Kevin M. Olin for his twenty-nine
years of loyal public service.
