2022-2031 RESOLUTION NO. 2022 - 2031
A resolution recognizing Debra A. Bruns for her employment at the City of
Janesville.
WHEREAS, Debra A. Bruns retired from City of Janesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for more than
27 years; and
WHEREAS, during Debra A. Bruns' employment with the City of Janesville, she
provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to
the duties of her position, which she performed with skill, ability, sincerity, honesty, and
dedication; and
WHEREAS, Debra A. Bruns began her employment with the City of Janesville as
Secretary 1 in the Finance Department in September 1994; and
WHEREAS, in the course of her employment, she held the positions of Secretary 1 and
Accounting Clerk in the Finance Department and Administrative Assistant II with the
Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, Debra A. Bruns was named the Fire Department's Mighty Oak recipient in
September 2019; and
WHEREAS, Debra A. Bruns was a valuable member of various committees and
working groups; and
WHEREAS, Debra A. Bruns was a long-time member of the Wisconsin Fire Service
Administrative Association; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be
properly recognized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Debra A. Bruns for
her more than 27 years of loyal public service.
