2022-850 FILE ORDINANCE NO. 2022-850
An Ordinance amending the list of streets required to stop to other designated streets, with a
penalty for violations thereof as provided in Section 38-3.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: Section 38-80 of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville is
hereby amended by adding the following:
For the East and West Milwaukee Street (Center Avenue/Centerway to East
Centerway) entry; add "North and South Jackson Street and North and South River
Street" to the "Except at" column.
SECTION II: Section 38-81 of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville is
hereby amended by adding the following:
For the North Jackson Street (Mineral Point Avenue to West Milwaukee Street); add
"West Milwaukee Street" to the "Except at" column
For the South Jackson Street (West Milwaukee Street to Rockport Road and Kellogg
Avenue to the south City limits); add "West Milwaukee Street" to the "Except at"
column.
SECTION III: Section 38-107 of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville is
hereby amended by adding the following:
"(46) West Milwaukee Street and North and South Jackson Street
(47) West Milwaukee Street and North and South River Street"
