2022-2030 RESOLUTION NO. 2022 - 2030
A resolution recognizing Janet M. McLean for her employment at the City of
Janesville.
WHEREAS, Janet M. McLean retired from City of Janesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for more than
29 years; and
WHEREAS, during Janet M. McLean's employment with the City of Janesville, she
provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to
the duties of her position, which she performed with skill, ability, sincerity, honesty, and
dedication; and
WHEREAS, Janet M. McLean began her employment with the City of Janesville as a
Seasonal Clerical Assistant at the Senior Center in June 1993; and
WHEREAS, in the course of her employment, she held several positions at the Senior
Center, including Recreation Aide, Recreation Programmer, Recreation Coordinator,
and Senior Center Supervisor; and
WHEREAS, Janet M. McLean was instrumental in leading efforts to attain accreditation
status for the Janesville Senior Activity Center through the Wisconsin Association of
Senior Centers, recognizing high standards in facility operations and procedures; and
WHEREAS, Janet M. McLean was named the Administrative Employee of the Year in
2015; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be
properly recognized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Janet M. McLean for
her more than 29 years of loyal public service.
