An ordinance amending the Future Land Use map of the City of Janesville Comprehensive Plan
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
The Future Land Use map (Map 1) of the City of Janesville Comprehensive Plan, is hereby amended as
follows and as depicted by the attached Future Land Use Designations map (Map 2):
SECTION I. The future land use category of the following described property is hereby changed from
Community Commercial, Planned Neighborhood and Possible Commercial or Light Industrial to Light
Industrial:
Property located at the northeast corner of USH 51 and STH 11 adjoining the planned greenbelt to the
north and west (Area A). Containing 113 acres more or less.
SECTION II. The future land use category of the following described property is hereby changed from Single
Family Residential and Planned Neighborhood to Single Family Residential:
Property located along proposed West Burbank Avenue and proposed Dupont Drive adjoining the
public greenbelt to the west (Area B). Containing 11 acres more or less.
SECTION III. The future land use category of the following described property is hereby changed from Single
Family Residential and Planned Neighborhood to Mixed Residential and Light Industrial:
Property located to the north of proposed W. Venture Drive and west of the existing and planned
public greenbelt (Area C). Containing 32 acres more or less.
SECTION IV. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common Council, the public
health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police power so requiring.
