2022-2029 RESOLUTION NO. 2022 - 2029
A resolution recognizing Barbara M. Ford for her employment at the City of
Janesville.
WHEREAS, Barbara M. Ford retired from City of Janesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for more than
ten years; and
WHEREAS, during Barbara M. Ford's employment with the City of Janesville, she
provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to
the duties of her position, which she performed with skill, ability, sincerity, honesty, and
dedication; and
WHEREAS, Barbara M. Ford began her employment with the City of Janesville as a
Part-Time Bus Driver with the Janesville Transit System in February 2012 and was
promoted to Full-Time Bus Driver in September 2013; and
WHEREAS, Barbara M. Ford is a respected professional driver of commercial vehicles,
as evidenced by her receipt of JTS safety awards; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be
properly recognized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Barbara M. Ford for
her more than ten years of loyal public service.
