2022-1989 RESOLUTION NO. 2022-1989
A resolution recognizing Mathew T. McGrath for his employment at the City of
Janesville.
WHEREAS, Mathew T. McGrath retired from City of Janesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for more than
30 years; retiring as a Senior Engineer with the Public Works/Engineering Division; and
WHEREAS, during Mathew T. McGrath's employment with the City of Janesville, he
provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to
the duties of his position, which he performed with skill, ability, sincerity, honesty, and
dedication; and
WHEREAS, Mathew T. McGrath began his employment with the City of Janesville as a
Civil Engineer I in June 1991; and
WHEREAS, in the course of his employment, he held several positions, including Civil
Engineer I, Civil Engineer II, and Senior Engineer; and
WHEREAS, Mathew T. McGrath was named the Engineering/Technical Services
Employee of the Year in 2004; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be
properly recognized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Mathew T. McGrath
for his more than thirty years of loyal public service.
