2022-1987 RESOLUTION NO. 2022-1987
A resolution recognizing David R. Gunderson for his employment at the City of
Janesville.
WHEREAS, David R. Gunderson retired from City of Janesville employment after
having diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for more
than seven years; and
WHEREAS, during David R. Gunderson's employment with the City of Janesville, he
provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to
the duties of his position, which he performed with skill, ability, sincerity, honesty, and
dedication; and
WHEREAS, David R. Gunderson began his employment with the City of Janesville as a
Part-Time Bus Driver with the Janesville Transit System in April 2014 and was
promoted to Full-Time Bus Driver in March 2018; and
WHEREAS, David R. Gunderson is a respected professional driver of commercial
vehicles, as evidenced by his earning of the JTS 6 Year Safety Award in 2021; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be
properly recognized;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to David R. Gunderson
for his more than seven years of loyal public service.
