An Ordinance amending JGO 6-60 pertaining to Class "B" Beer only licenses,
eliminating the restriction to restaurant applications only and specific exemption for
municipal golf courses, with penalties and other relief for violations thereof as set forth
in JGO 6-104.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVLLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section I. JGO Subsections 6-60 (c), (d), and (e) of the Code of General Ordinances of
the City of Janesville are hereby repealed so that the remaining subsections read as
follows:
Sec. 6-60. Class "B" beer only licenses; issuance based on population;
requirements.
(a) The City may issue Class "B" beer only licenses in addition to any other license
granted pursuant to this chapter. There shall not be more than one Class "B" beer
only license issued for every 3,300 or fraction thereof of the population of the City
according to the last decennial federal census.
(b) All other provisions of this chapter shall apply to the licenses created by this
section, unless in direct conflict therewith, in which case the express provisions of
this section shall prevail.
(c) Additional requirements for the Class B beer only license shall be as follows:
the gross revenue is from the sale of food.
(2) Licensees may sell or offer for sale in cans, bottles, and/or by draft, and for
consumption upon the licensed premises only, beer, beer coolers, and such
other fermented malt beverages as are specifically permitted by the Wisconsin
Statutes, as from time to time amended.
{3) The licensee, by application for and receipt of this license, agrees to an
