2022-1975 RESOLUTION NO. 2022-1975
A resolution recognizing Keven L. Bliss for his employment at the City of
Janesville.
WHEREAS, Keven L. Bliss retired from City of Janesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for more than
24 years; retiring as the Chief Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator with the Public
Works/Wastewater Utility Division; and
WHEREAS, during Keven L. Bliss' employment with the City of Janesville, he provided
exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties
of his position, which he performed with skill, ability, sincerity, honesty, and dedication;
and
WHEREAS, Keven L. Bliss began his employment with the City of Janesville as a
Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Trainee in August 1997; and
WHEREAS, in the course of his employment, he held a number of positions, including
WWTP Operator Trainee, WWTP Operator I, WWTP Operator II, WWTP Operator Ill,
and Chief WWTP Operator; and
WHEREAS, Keven L. Bliss was named the Water/Wastewater Employee of the Year in
2003; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be
properly recognized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Keven L. Bliss for his
more than twenty-four years of loyal public service.
