2022-1974 RESOLUTION NO. 2022-1974
A resolution recognizing Susan M. Knueppel for her employment at the City of
Janesville.
WHEREAS, Susan M. Knueppel retired from City of Janesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for more than
24 years; retiring as an Administrative Assistant I with the Neighborhood & Community
Services Department/Recreation Division; and
WHEREAS, during Susan M. Knueppel's employment with the City of Janesville, she
provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to
the duties of her position, which she performed with skill, ability, sincerity, honesty, and
dedication; and
WHEREAS, Susan M. Knueppel began her employment with the City of Janesville as a
Part-Time Clerk Typist in the Leisure Services Department/Recreation Division in
February 1998; and
WHEREAS, in the course of her employment, she held a number of positions, including
Part-Time Clerk Typist, Full-Time Clerk Typist, Customer Service Representative, and
Administrative Assistant I; and
WHEREAS, Susan M. Knueppel was named the Leisure Services Employee of the
Year in 2006 and was a recipient of the Mighty Oak Award in December 2016; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be
properly recognized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Susan M. Knueppel
for her more than twenty-four years of loyal public service.
