2022-1951 RESOLUTION NO. 2022-1951 A resolution recognizing Nathan G. Blank for his employment at the City of Janesville. WHEREAS, Nathan G. Blank retired from City of Janesville employment after having diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for more than 25 years; retiring as a Police Officer with the Janesville Police Department; and WHEREAS, during Nathan G. Blank's employment with the City of Janesville, he provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties of his position, which he performed with skill, ability, sincerity, honesty, and dedication; and WHEREAS, Nathan G. Blank began his employment with the City of Janesville as a Police Officer in February 1996; and WHEREAS, in the course of his employment, he had a variety of assignments, including first, second and third shift patrol officer; and oversaw the Police Department's abandoned vehicle process/program, was a leader in the chaplain program, and trained new officers in Spillman police reporting systems; and WHEREAS, Nathan G. Blank was recognized in 2013 for his successful lifesaving efforts and for providing CPR to a crash victim; and WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be properly recognized. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the people of the City of Janesville, through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Nathan G. Blank for his more than twenty-five years of loyal public service. Dated this 10th day of January, 2022.
