2022-1947 RESOLUTION NO. 2022-1947
A resolution recognizing Jerry D. Cramer for his employment at the City of Janesville.
WHEREAS, Jerry D. Cramer retired from City of Janesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for more than
24 years; retiring as a Driver/MPO with the Janesville Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, during Jerry D. Cramer's employment with the City of Janesville, he
provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to
the duties of his position, which he performed with skill, ability, sincerity, honesty, and
dedication; and
WHEREAS, Jerry D. Cramer began his employment with the City of Janesville as a
Firefighter/Paramedic in April 1997; and
WHEREAS, in the course of his employment, he held several positions including
Firefighter/EMT, Driver/MPO, and Acting Lieutenant, and also served on the Fire
Department's Dive and Hazardous Material Response Teams; and
WHEREAS, Jerry D. Cramer served on the Equipment Committee, and played a
valuable role in numerous apparatus specifications and purchases; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be
properly recognized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Jerry D. Cramer for
his more than twenty-four years of loyal public service.
