2022-1952 RESOLUTION NO. 2022-1952
A resolution recognizing Margaret Duerr for her employment at the City of Janesville.
WHEREAS, Margaret Duerr retired from City of Janesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for more than
24 years; retiring as an Administrative Assistant II Engineering Division; and
WHEREAS, during Margaret Duerr's employment with the City of Janesville, she
provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to
the duties of her position, which she performed with skill, ability, sincerity, honesty, and
dedication; and
WHEREAS, Margaret Duerr began her employment with the City of Janesville as an
Administrative Assistant in the Engineering Division in December 1997; and
WHEREAS, she was promoted to Administrative Assistant II and has been a valuable
member of the Engineering Division throughout her employment; and
WHEREAS, Margaret Duerr was awarded the Public Works Employee of the year in
2011, and she served on the Children's Christmas Party Committee; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be
properly recognized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Margaret Duerr for
her more than twenty-four years of loyal public service.
