2022-1949 RESOLUTION NO. 2022-1949
A resolution recognizing Dale J. Stutika for his employment at the City of Janesville.
WHEREAS, Dale J. Stutika retired from City of Janesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for more than
31 years; retiring as a Detective with the Janesville Police Department; and
WHEREAS, during Dale J. Stutika's employment with the City of Janesville, he provided
exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties
of his position, which he performed with skill, ability, sincerity, honesty, and dedication;
and
WHEREAS, Dale J. Stutika began his employment with the City of Janesville as a
Police Officer in June 1990; and
WHEREAS, in the course of his employment, he had a variety of assignments, including
Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, Range Officer, Special Operations Unit, SWAT
Officer, and Detective; and
WHEREAS, Dale J. Stutika was awarded a Division Commendation in 2007 for his
attention to detail and investigative efforts leading to the arrest of a suspect involved in
five (5) separate burglaries; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be
properly recognized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Dale J. Stutika for his
more than thirty-one years of loyal public service.
