An ordinance adjusting the Certificate of Occupancy fees and establishing a Plan Re-review fee
with penalties for violations thereof as set forth in JGO 10-247 and JGO 42-332.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The applicable section of the Fee Schedule set forth in Appendix A of the Code of
General Ordinances of the City of Janesville is hereby adjusted to reflect the below new fee and
is hereby amended in the manner set forth in the attachment hereto:
1. The Certificate of Occupancy fee is increased from $31 to $50 per dwelling unit and from $72
to $100 for commercial and industrial buildings effective January 1, 2022.

SECTION II. The applicable section of the Fee Schedule set forth in Appendix A of the Code of
General Ordinances of the City of Janesville is hereby adjusted to add the new fee of Plan Re-
review and is hereby amended in the manner set forth in the attachment hereto:
The Plan Re-review fee is established and is $250 per re-review and effective January 1, 2022.
