2021-1936 RESOLUTION NO. 2021-1936
A resolution authorizing the acceptance of a donation of a gazebo for
Riverside Park.
WHEREAS, the City of Janesville was approached by the family of Sandy
Hendricks on a proposal to construct a gazebo in Riverside Park; and
WHEREAS, the project will be funded in its entirety by the proposing group; and
WHEREAS, the gazebo will provide an area for park weddings and general
relaxation; and
WHEREAS, the proposed pavilion has been given a positive endorsement by the
Plan Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Common Council hereby find that a gazebo would be a valuable
amenity to the community.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Janesville, that the Janesville City Council do hereby accept the donation of a
gazebo at Riverside Park.
