An ordinance amending allowable cancelations of regular City Council meetings.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: Sec. 2-19 (b) of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville is
hereby amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 2-19. - Regular.
(b) When a regular meeting date falls on a legal holiday, Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve, that regular
meeting shall be cancelled but may be held on a different weekday to be determined by the Council
President prior to the next regularly scheduled Council meeting, with prior notice to the
Councilmembers. The Council President may also cancel or reschedule the second meetings of
June and December.
