2021-1907 RESOLUTION NO. 2021 — 1907
A resolution recognizing Beth Elder for her employment at the City of Janesville.
WHEREAS, Beth L. Elder is retiring from City of Janesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for more than
eleven years; retiring as a Bus Driver with the Janesville Transit System; and
WHEREAS, during Beth Elder's employment with the City of Janesville, she provided
exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties of
her position, which she performed with skill and ability, sincerity, honesty, and dedication;
and
WHEREAS, Beth Elder began her employment with the City of Janesville as a Part-time
Bus Driver with Janesville Transit and was promoted to Full-Time Bus Driver in April 2013;
and
WHEREAS, Beth Elder consistently focused on safety and proper commercial vehicle
operation; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be
properly recognized; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the people of the City of Janesville, through
the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Beth Elder for her eleven years
of loyal public service.
