2020-1821 FILE RESOLUTION No. 2020-1821
A resolution dedicating Janesville's Official Squiggly Tree
WHEREAS, the City of Janesville adopted the Squiggly Tree as the official city logo in 1990;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Janesville desires to have an official Squiggly Tree; and
WHEREAS, the Town Square celebration on October 16, 2020 will be host to the unveiling of
Janesville's official Squiggly Tree; and
WHEREAS, the Common Council hereby find it is in the best interest of the City of Janesville,
and the community, to dedicate an official Squiggly Tree; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Janesville that
they hereby authorize and approve the dedication of Janesville's official Squiggly Tree.
