2020-1814 RESOLUTION NO. 2020-1814
Whereas, Jeffrey Deischer is retiring from City of Janesville employment after
having diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for over
twenty-seven years; retiring as a Police Officer with the Janesville Police Department;
and
Whereas, during Jeffrey Deischer's employment with the City of Janesville, he
provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to
the duties of his position, which he performed with skill and ability, sincerity, honesty,
and dedication; and
Whereas, Jeffrey Deischer began his employment with the City of Janesville as a
Policer Officer in September of 1993; and
Whereas, Jeffrey Deischer was involved in a variety of assignments during his
career including Police Officer — First and Third Shifts; Range Officer; Field Training
Officer; Bike Officer; Background Investigator; and
Whereas, Jeffrey Deischer served on the General Order Committee; and
Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville
be properly recognized;
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Jeffrey Deischer for
his twenty-seven plus years of loyal public service.
