An ordinance amending Janesville General Ordinance 38-257 (a) pertaining to overnight
public parking and sleeping in the City of Janesville with penalties as set forth in J.G.O.
38-258.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 38-257 of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville is hereby amended
to read as follows:
Sec. 38-257. - Sleeping in vehicles unlawful. (a) It is unlawful for any person to sleep in a
parked vehicle while on any public street, public parking lot, or park, from the hours of 10:00
p.m. to 6:00 a.m., except at the Hedberg Public Library Lot and the City Hall Lot.
