2020-803 ORDINANCE NO. 2020-803
An ordinance changing the zoning classification of 1901 Reuther Way from M2,
General Industrial District to BT, Business Technology District; and 1900 Reuther
Way from M2, General Industrial District; R1, Single-Family Residence District; and
B3, General Commercial District to BT, Business Technology District with Parking
Overlay District with a penalty and injunctive relief for a violation thereof as set forth
in Section 42-332 of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby
changed from M2, General Industrial District, to BT, Business Technology District:
Part of the NE IA of Section 12, T2N, R12E of the 4th PM, City of Janesville, Rock County,
Wisconsin, described as follows: Commencing at the E '/ corner of said Section 12;
thence N. 88° 59' 22"W. 470.21 feet along South line of said NE IA; thence N. 00° 55' 38"E
330 feet; thence S. 88° 59' 32" E 10.02 feet to place of beginning; thence N. 00°55'19"E
145.88 feet along the west right-of-way of Reuther Way; thence continue along said right-
of-way 343.6 feet along curve to the left with a radius of 500 feet, chord bearing and
distance N18°45'21"W, 336.88 feet; thence continue along said right-of-way N38°26'42"W
253.07 feet; thence south and parallel with the eastern line of said section 12 658.3 feet
more or less to NW corner of Lot 2 of Certified Survey Map 1018150 recorded in Volume
12, Pages 267-268, Certified Survey Maps Rock County, WI; thence east, west and
parallel to the centerline of said Section 12 264 feet more or less to point of beginning.
Also includes one-half of the public right-of-way of Reuther Way that is east of and
adjoining above-described property.
SECTION II. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby
changed from M2, General Industrial District; R1, Single-Family Residence District; and
B3, General Commercial District to BT, Business Technology District with Parking Overlay
District:
Part of the SE A of the NE 'A of Section 12, T2N, R12E of the 4th PM, City of Janesville,
Rock County, Wisconsin, described as follows: Commencing at the E '/ corner of said
Section 12; thence west along the centerline of said Section 12 185 feet; then
N00°29'28"W 132.35 feet to point of beginning; thence continue N00°29'28"W197.35 feet
along Reuther Way right-of-way; thence N88°54'32"W 87.92 feet continue along said right-
of-way; thence Northwesterly along said right-of-way 123.02 feet along a curve to the right,
with a radius of 364.01 feet, chord bearing and distance N8°45'18"W, 122.44 feet; thence
continue along said right-of-way N00°55'23" 233.04 feet to the south line railroad right-of-
way; thence southeast along said railroad right-of-way 468.15 feet more or less to the east
right-of-way of Beloit Avenue; thence S00°29'28"E 56.31 feet along said east right-of-way;
thence N38°26'42"W 48.11 feet along the north right-of-way of Reuther Way; thence
N88°59'22"W 58 feet along said right-of-way; thence S00°50'53"W 164.71 feet more or
less along said right-of-way; thence S88°57'22"E

SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon u adoption bythe Common
