2020-802 ORDINANCE NO. 2020-802
An ordinance changing the zoning classification of 4245 Fox Hills Court from B4, Business
Highway District, to 01, Office/Residence District, with a penalty and injunctive relief for a
violation thereof as set forth in Section 42-332 of the Code of General Ordinances of the
City of Janesville.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby changed from
B4, Business Highway District, to 01, Office/Residence District:
Part of the SW 1/4 of Section 8, T.3N., R.13E., of the 4th P.M., City of Janesville, County of Rock,
State of Wisconsin, described as follows: Commencing at the intersection of the North and South
centerline of said Section 8 with the centerline of S.T.H. 26; thence S. 53° 09' 45"W., along the
centerline of said highway, 973.00 feet to a point; thence S. 36°50'15"E., as measured at right
angles to said highway, 106.32 feet to an iron pipe monument set on the Southerly relocated right-
of-way line of said highway, and the place of beginning for the land to be herein described; thence
continuing S. 36° 50' 15"E., along said line, 168.68 feet to an iron pipe monument; thence S. 53°
09' 45" W., parallel with the Southeasterly line of a tract of land conveyed by deed recorded in
Volume 559 of Deeds on Page 574 in the office of the Register of Deeds for Rock County,
Wisconsin, 291.24 feet to an iron pipe monument; thence N. 36° 50' 15"W., 91.48 feet to an iron
pipe monument set on the Southerly relocated right-of-way line of said highway; thence N. 38° 19'
15"E., along said relocated right-of-way, 301.28 feet to the place of beginning.
ALSO, the South '/2 right-of-way of STH 26 lying adjacent to the above described parcel.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common Council,
the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police power so
requiring.
