2020-800 ORDINANCE NO. 2020-800
An ordinance changing the zoning classifications of portions of property located at
1700 and 1800 South River Road from R3M, Medium-Density Residence District, to
R3, General Residence District; and from R1, Single-Family Residence District, to
R3M, Medium Density Residence District, with a penalty and injunctive relief for a
violation thereof as set forth in Section 42-332 of the Code of General Ordinances of
the City of Janesville.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby
changed from R3M, Medium-Density Residence District, to R3, General Residence
District:
PART OF LOT 1 OF A CERTIFIED SURVEY MAP RECORDED IN VOLUME 40, PAGES
68 THRU 74 OF CERTIFIED SURVEY MAPS OF ROCK COUNTY, WISCONSIN, AS
DOCUMENT NO. 2141413 AND PART OF LOT 1 OF A CERTIFIED SURVEY MAP
RECORDED IN VOLUME 20, PAGES 364 THRU 367 OF CERTIFIED SURVEY MAPS
OF ROCK COUNTY, WISCONSIN, AS DOCUMENT NO. 1349359 AND LOCATED IN
GOVERNMENT LOT 5 OF FRACTIONAL SECTION 10 T.2N., R.12E., OF THE 4TH P.M.,
CITY OF JANESVILLE, ROCK COUNTY, WISCONSIN.
DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: Beginning at the most Northerly Corner of CSM 2141413,
Lot 1; thence S79°51'44"E along the North Line of said Lot, 790.82 feet; thence
N80°12'57"E 100.66 feet; thence S42°08'04"W 207 feet; thence N47°51'58"W 108.51 feet;
thence S46°08'52"W 282.79 feet; thence S20°08'24"W 267.09 feet; thence S76°44'21"W
496.36 feet to the West Line of CSM 2141413, Lot 1 ;
thence NO3°20'39"W along said West Line 403.29 feet; thence N21°48'21"E continuing
along said West Line, 388.02 feet to the place of beginning.
SECTION II. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby
changed from R1, Single-Family Residence District, to R3M, Medium-Density Residence
District:
LOT 1 OF A CERTIFIED SURVEY MAP RECORDED IN VOLUME 14, PAGES 393 AND
394 OF CERTIFIED SURVEY MAPS OF ROCK COUNTY, WISCONSIN, AS DOCUMENT
NO. 1120716 AND LOCATED IN GOVERNMENT LOT 6 OF FRACTIONAL SECTION 10,
T.2N., R.12E., OF THE 4TH P.M., CITY OF JANESVILLE, ROCK COUNTY, WISCONSIN.
SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common
Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police
power so requiring.
