A Resolution Adopting the 2021 Business Improvement District Operating Plan
and Setting a BID Levy for 2020
WHEREAS, the Business Improvement District (BID) Board prepared a 2021 BID
Operating Plan and proposed BID levy for calendar year 2020; and
WHEREAS, the owner of all of the properties within the BID were provided a copy of the
proposed BID Operating Plan (a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated
herein by references as if fully set forth verbatim) and proposed budget with levy for
2020; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has issued a legal opinion finding that the proposed BID
Operating Plan and 2020 levy comply with the required provisions of Wisconsin State
Statutes 66.1109(3)(b); and
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Janesville hereby find that the
implementation of the proposed BID Operating Plan, proposed budget, and the setting
of a BID levy for 2020, in the manner proposed in the attachments, each to be in the
best interests of the City of Janesville, its downtown, and the BID;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council of the City of
Janesville does hereby:
1 . Approve the 2021 BID Operating Plan.
2. Approve the 2020 BID Levy as set forth in the 2021 BID Operating Plan.
