An ordinance changing and establishing the zoning classification of land located on the
City's west side adjoining Rockport Ridge Estates.
THE COMMON COUNCil OF THE CITY OF JANESVlllE DO ORDAIN AS FOllOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is established as R1,
Single and Two-Family Residence District.
PART OF THE SE. y.. OF SECTION 33, T.3N., R.12E. OF THE 4TH P.M., TOWN OF
JANESVILLE, ROCK COUNTY, WISCONSIN.
DESCRIBED AS FOllOWS: Commencing at the SE. corner of said Section 33; thence
N.69°10'28"W. 984.83 feet to the NW. corner of a Certified Survey map as recorded in Volume
17, Pages 115 and 116, also being at the place of beginning for the land to be herein described;
thence S.89°34'20'W. 20.0 feet; thence S.0025'53"E. 305.25 feet to a line parallel to and 33 feet
North of the South line of the SE. y.. of said Section; thence N.89° 19'50'W. along said parallel
line, 641.83 feet; thence N.0040'1 O"E. 138.66 feet; thence N.89°19'50'W. 515.88 feet; thence
N.5°37'28"E. 126.16 feet; thence N.5°34'47"E. 70.0 feet; thence N.9°26'19"E. 140.65 feet to the
SW. corner of Lot 110, "Rockport Ridge Estates Sixth Addition"; thence N.89°32'58"E. 436.18
feet to the SE. corner of Lot 112 of said "Sixth Addition"; thence N.31 °31 '06'W. 143.20 feet to
the most Southerly corner of Lot 113 of said "Sixth Addition"; thence N.49°41 '20"E. 131.24 feet
to the most Easterly corner of said Lot 113; thence N.45°36'12"E. 70.18 feet to the most
Southerly corner of Lot 94 of said "Sixth Addition"; thence N.49°41 '20"E. 130.0 feet to the most
easterly corner of said Lot 94; thence S.40018'40"E. along the West line of "Rockport Ridge
Estates Third Addition", 303.75 feet; thence S.47°55'35"E. along the existing city limit line,
436.89 feet to the place of beginning.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common
Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police
power so requiring.
