2020-1794 RESOLUTION NO. 2020 — 1794
Whereas, Christopher Lloyd retired from City of Janesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for more than
29 years, retiring as a Lieutenant with the Janesville Fire Department; and
Whereas, during Christopher Lloyd's employment with the City of Janesville, he
provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to
the duties of his position, which he performed with skill and ability, sincerity, honesty,
and dedication; and
Whereas, Christopher Lloyd began his employment with the City of Janesville as a
Firefighter/Paramedic with the Janesville Fire Department on October 1, 1990; and
Whereas, Christopher Lloyd was involved in a variety of assignments during his career
including Firefighter, Paramedic, Preceptor, Driver, and Lieutenant; and
Whereas, Christopher Lloyd was a member of the Hazardous Materials Team and
Technical Rescue Team, and
Whereas Christopher Lloyd was a member and Chair of the Health and Safety
Committee; and
Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be
properly recognized;
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of Janesville, through the
City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Christopher Lloyd for his more
than 29 years of loyal public service.
