An ordinance changing the zoning classification of a portion of 1717 Center Avenue from
M1, Light Industrial District, to 133, General Commercial District, with a penalty and
injunctive relief for a violation thereof as set forth in Section 42-332 of the Code of General
Ordinances of the City of Janesville_
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS=
SECTION I_ The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby changed from
M1, Light Industrial District, to 133, General Commercial District:
Part of the NW % of the NW '/4 of Section 12, T.2N., R.12E_, of the 4"' P.M., City of Janesville,
Rock County, Wisconsin.
Described as follows: Beginning at the SE Corner of the NW % of the NW % of said Section;
thence N88"'04'10"W along the North Line of a Certified Survey Map recorded in Volume 1, Pages
262 8, 263, a distance of 849.36 feet to the West Line of Lafayette Street; thence N0'30'S0"E
662.74 feet to the North Line of the South % of the NW '/a of the NW '/a of said Section; thence
S88°05'50"E along said North Line, 848.93 feet to the East Line of the NW '/ of the NW '/a of said
Section; thence SW28'40"W along said East Line, 663.16 feet to the place of beginning.
SECTION II_ This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common Council,
the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police power so
requiring.
