2020-1769 RESOLUTION NO. 2020 — 1769 Whereas, Nancy Murray is retiring from City of Janesville employment after having diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for 27 years, retiring as a Public Services Assistant I at Hedberg Public Library; and Whereas, during Nancy Murray's employment with the City, she provided consistently professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties of her position, which she performed with skill and ability, sincerity, honesty, and dedication; and Whereas, Nancy Murray began her employment with the City at the Janesville Public Library in March 1993; and Whereas, Nancy Murray was involved in different assignments during her tenure at Hedberg Public Library including Circulation Clerk, Circulation Assistant and Public Services Assistant I; and Whereas, Nancy Murray gave extra effort to serve her colleagues by preparing new magazines for circulation and on an annual basis removing the "old" magazines from the collection, and by ordering and maintaining supplies for the Public Services Department; and Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City be properly recognized. Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of Janesville, through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Nancy Murray for her 27 years of loyal public service.
