2020-1755 RESOLUTION NO. 2020 — 1755
Whereas, Robert Gruenwald retired from City of Janesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for more than
23 years, retiring as a Police Officer with the Janesville Police Department; and
Whereas, during Robert Gruenwald's employment with the City, he provided exemplary
professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties of his
position, which he performed with skill and ability, sincerity, honesty, and dedication;
and
Whereas, Robert Gruenwald began his employment with the City as a Police Officer
with the Janesville Police Department; and
Whereas, Robert Gruenwald was involved in a variety of assignments during his career
including Police Officer — First, Second, and Third Shifts; Special Operations Unit
Officer, Range Officer, Bicycle Officer, and Motorcycle Officer, and
Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be
properly recognized;
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of Janesville, through the
City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Robert Gruenwald for his more
than 23 years of loyal public service.
