RESOLUTION NO. 2005-195
Whereas, Garrett L. Summers is retiring from City of Janesville
employment after having diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the
community for thirty-one years, retiring as Risk Manager in the Human Resources
Department; and
Whereas, during his service to the community, Garrett L. Summers
made significant contributions in employee safety and training, worker compensation
and loss control programs; and
Whereas, during Garrett L. Summers employment with the City of
Janesville, he provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated
conscientious devotion to the duties of his position, which he performed with
competence, sincerity, honesty, and dedication; and
Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of
Janesville be properly recognized;
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of
Janesville, through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Garrett
L. Summers for his thirty-one years of loyal public service.
