An ordinance changing and establishing the zoning classification of property located within
the 3500 block of N. Harmony Townhall Road east of Sheiffer Park.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is established as
R1, Single and Two-Family Residence District:
PART OF A CERTIFIED SURVEY MAP AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 10, PAGES 191 AND 192 OF
CERTIFIED SURVEY MAPS OF ROCK COUNTY, WISCONSIN AS DOCUMENT NO. 934915 AND
PART OF THE SE.1/4 OF THE NE.1/4 OF SECTION 16, T.3N., R.13E. OF THE 4TH P.M., TOWN
OF HARMONY, ROCK COUNTY, WISCONSIN.
DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: Commencing at the East 1/4 corner of said Section; thence
N88°35'29"W. along the East-West Centerline of said Section, 33.02 feet to the West Line of N.
Harmony Townhall Road, also being at the place of beginning for the land to be herein described;
thence N88°35'29"W continuing along said East-West Centerline, 1289.63 feet to the West Line of
the SE.1/4 of the NE.1/4 of said Section; thence N0°57'55"W along said West Line 659.40 feet to the
South Line of Rotamer Ridge Estates Fourth Addition; thence S88°33'59"E along said South Line
and the North Line of the South 1/2 of the Se.1/4 of the NE.1/4 of said Section 1289.64 feet to a line
33 feet West of and parallel to the East Line of the SE.1/4 of said Section; thence S0°57'58"E along
said parallel line, 658.83 feet to the place of beginning. Containing 19.5 acres.
SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common Council,
the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police power so
requiring.
